ORTHODONTICS FOR CHILDREN
The American Association of Orthodontists recommends children visit an orthodontist by the age of seven to begin early treatment. We believe in preventive treatment and early intervention that allows your orthodontist to guide your child’s jaw during growth to help create more space for crowded teeth. This will help avoid extractions later in life and will also help correct minor speech problems. Signs that your child may need to see an orthodontist include crowded or misplaced teeth, difficulty biting or chewing, mouth breathing, thumb sucking, and popping jaws.
